Summit Avenue is amazing, and it shows what can happen when a group of people get together and rehab a bunch of houses and don’t let them be demolished for “progress.” The following houses are from east to west on the north side of Summit Avenue from Selby Avenue to Nina Street. I’ll let them speak for themselves.
We now cross over to the south side of Summit Avenue at Nina Street below, which looks down the bluffs. The house below is Post-Modernist in-fill. We’ll head east back towards Selby Avenue and the James J. Hill House.
Now we go back to Nina Street on the north side of the street and go west until we get to Farrington Street.
